Catherine Lahmeyer, ED. D, Owner

Dr. Lahmeyer focuses on helping business leaders achieve and sustain results in their organization by driving organizational effectiveness through leadership development, culture shaping, change management and performance/talent management.  Over the course of her career, Cathy has been most valued for her keen insights about leveraging for change.  She has also been described as innovative, creative and energetic with a high drive for creating personal and business impact.  She brings an integrated view of the business to her clients and advocates change through a broad array of interventions utilizing the client's current business issues to prepare, educate and empower the team, from the executive level to the support staff.  Cathy's areas of expertise include: Change Management, Culture Shaping, Strategic to Tactical Planning, Leadership Development, Organizational and Personal Assessments and Coaching.

Cathy consults to management in the areas of leadership development, strategic and tactical planning, cultural assessment, team building, communication and employee involvement.  She also guides senior site management through the design and implementation of organization systems related to implementation projects, continuous improvement, diversity, rewards and recognition.

Representative Experience

Cathy acquired in-depth senior management experience at Inland Paperboard and Packaging, Inc., (a wholly owned subsidiary of Temple-Inland, Inc.) and Beaufort Transfer Company, designing and managing change through organizational development, human resources and training.  Prior to her corporate experience, she has 18 years experience in education, holding various positions in administration, coaching and developing teachers, students, and administrators.

Education

Cathy earned her doctorate, masters, and undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri - Columbia.  She has completed an Executive Management course at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and holds certification from CHORDAź in Collaboration Skills and Advanced Mediation.
